Executive Coaching
What is Executive Coaching?
What does an Executive coach do?
Executive Coaching is aimed at company Management, key figures in companies such as Directors, Executives, Managers, but also high-level employees and new talent. An Executive Coach works with individuals or teams and helps his clients to identify and achieve company goals and improve self-awareness and gain insight. By developing client potential, the company obtains improved performance.
An Executive Coach steps in and helps when:
- There is difficulty in reaching objectives;
- Dealing and managing change in the company;
- Improvement of communication and relationship skills is needed;
- There is a need for the development and learning of new leadership skills
The reason why experienced people in a company struggle to cope on their own can be linked to difficulties in seeing the situation in the most complete and objective way. Coaching creates a space to observe the situation through a different pair of glasses.
Goals of Executive Coaching
When a company decides to take on an Executive Coach, it tends to do so for two reasons:
- Management problems of the role covered by individual;
- Issues that involve the entire company and require carefully planned work from the top
The work of the Executive Coaching starts with understanding the client’s reality through questions and observations. In addition, one of the most important tasks of an Executive Coach is to help the client identify his resources and acquire them through awareness, working in particular on his leadership.
